Terms and Conditions

• All trainees must be in possession of a signed provisional driving licence on commencement of training and must satisfy the eyesight requirements.
  
  
• I reserve the right to charge for any training not cancelled at least 2 full working days before the date of the lesson. This does not include Sundays, bank holidays, the day of cancellation or the day of the lesson. Payment for training must be made one lesson in advance.
  
  
• Whilst every care will be taken to ensure that clients receive the training at the requested time as booked, all bookings are made on the undertaking that the Instructor is not responsible for the postponement of training due to adverse weather conditions, mechanical breakdown of equipment, neither can the Instructor be responsible for driving test appointments postponed by the Driving Standards Agency. Where illness of instructor or similar causes the cancellation, an alternative date/time will be offered where possible or any reasonable out of pocket expenses may be claimed by the trainee.
  
  
• The trainee should be guided by the instructor regarding their readiness for the driving test. The instructor reserves the right to withhold the training vehicle for the driving test if, in their opinion, the trainee does not reach the required standard. The test fee will be forfeited if three clear days notice is not given to the DSA. This does not include weekends, bank holidays, the day of cancellation or the day of the test.
  
  
• Naturally every endeavour is made to safeguard the personal property of any trainee, but the Instructor accepts no liability whatsoever for jewellery, cash, clothing or other property that may be left in the training vehicle.
